Gaby was appointed by the Secretary General to the Board of Trustees of the UN Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture (UNVFVT) in July 2014. This body is comprised of five independent experts: a Chairperson and four members representing each of the five geographical regions (Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Western European and Other States Group).  She currently serve as Chairperson of the Board.  To learn more about the governance of the Fund please read here.
